Pinpoint Test B: Brake Pedal Position Input Circuit Failure

Test Step

B1 CHECK CIRCUIT 15S-CF58 (GN/OG) FOR AN OPEN

Key in OFF position.
Disconnect: Traction Control Module C135.
Key ON position.
Measure the voltage between the traction control module C135 pin 41, circuit 15S-CF58 (GN/OG), harness side and ground while pressing and releasing the brake pedal.

Is the voltage greater than 10 volts with the brake pedal pressed, and zero volts with the brake pedal released?

Result / Action to Take

Yes

INSTALL a new HCU. REFER to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.

REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
