Reverse Clutch: Assembly

Soak the internal spline clutch plates in clean automatic transmission fluid for 15 minutes before assembly.
Lubricate and install the reverse clutch piston assembly.

Install the reverse clutch piston return spring.

Using the special tool, install the reverse clutch piston return spring retainer and retainer ring.

Install the reverse clutch pressure, friction and steel plates.
1. Install the plates.
2. Install the retaining ring.
  - Check the clearance. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
