Transaxle Case: Disassembly

Remove the halfshaft seals (left-hand side shown).

Using the special tools, remove the differential case bearing cups (left-hand side shown).

Using the special tools, remove the final drive input gear bearing cup.

CAUTION: Use care when removing the differential bearing cup not to damage the funnel. Install new funnel if damaged.

Using the special tool, remove the transfer shaft gear bearing cups (left-hand side shown).

NOTE: Note the location of the bleed hole in the funnel in relation to the bottom of the case.

NOTE: Inspect the bleed hole for foreign material.

Remove the funnel.
Rotate the transaxle 180 degrees.
Using the special tools, remove the final drive input gear bearing cup.
