Windshield Wiper: Notes

CAUTION: The windshield wiper system has an auto park feature. It is necessary to disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the battery. For additional information, Refer to BATTERY & CHARGING SYSTEM .
Remove the cowl panel grille. For additional information, Refer to COWL PANEL GRILLE .

Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps:

Part	Steps
Windshield Wiper Motor	5-8
Cowl Panel Top, Windshield Wiper Mounting Arm and Pivot Shaft	1-4
