Shock Absorber And Spring Assembly - Front: Notes

NOTE: Make sure the steering wheel is in the unlocked position.

NOTE: Use the hex holding feature to prevent the studs from turning while removing or installing the stabilizer bar link nuts.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position on a hoist. For additional information, refer to IDENTIFICATION CODES .
Remove the cowl panel grille. For additional information, refer to BODY SYSTEM - EXTERIOR .
Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Check the front end alignment and adjust as necessary. For additional information, refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT .
