Valve Spring Strength

1. Use a Valve/Clutch Spring Pressure Gauge to check the valve spring for correct strength at the specified valve spring length.
   • Refer to ENGINE- 3.8L & 3.9L or ENGINE- 4.6L (2V) or ENGINE- COBRA 4.6L (4V) or ENGINE - MACH1 4.6L (4V) for the procedure .
   • If out of specification, install new components as necessary. Refer to ENGINE- 3.8L & 3.9L or ENGINE- 4.6L (2V) or ENGINE- COBRA 4.6L (4V) or ENGINE - MACH1 4.6L (4V) for the procedure .
