Refer to the fluid level indicator and owner guide for the type of fluid required. Some fluid labels may indicate dual usage such as MERCON® and MERCON® V. Never use dual usage fluids in transmissions that use only MERCON® type fluid. Only use dual usage fluids in transmissions that require MERCON® V Transmission Fluid.

NOTE: Using a transmission fluid that indicates a dual usage (MERCON® and MERCON® V) in a transmission application requiring MERCON®, may cause transmission damage. Use of any fluid other than the recommended fluid can cause transmission damage.

⁽²⁾	Use only MERCON® SP Transmission Fluid in the TorqShift transmission. Mixing MERCON® or MERCON® V in a TorqShift transmission may cause internal transmission damage. Use of any fluid other than the recommended fluid can cause internal transmission damage.
