1-2 Accumulator: Installation

  1. Install the 1-2 shift accumulator assembly.
    1. Install the 1-2 accumulator upper spring.
    2. Install the 1-2 accumulator piston.
    3. Install the inner and outer 1-2 accumulator springs.
    4. Install the 1-2 accumulator cover.

  2. Compress the 1-2 accumulator piston and remove the accumulator piston retaining ring.

  3. Install the transmission fluid pan and filter. For additional information, refer to FLUID PAN, GASKET AND FILTER .
