Transmission Shift Control Linkage
The transmission shift control linkage consists of:
- a gearshift lever (7210) which connects to the transmission column shift selector tube (7212) on the steering column.
- A gearshift lever pin (7G357) secures the gearshift lever to the selector tube.
- a shift cable and bracket (7E395) (7B229) which connects to the transmission selector lever arm and support (7302) on the steering column and to the manual control lever (7A256) on the transmission.
- The shift cable bracket bolts to the transmission.
