Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist.







3. Remove the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
1. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the two MAF sensor retaining screws.
3. Remove the MAF sensor.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
