Removal







1. CAUTION: Prior to removal of the generic electronic module (GEM), it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.

Remove the glove compartment.







2. Disconnect the GEM electrical connectors.







3. Remove the GEM.

Installation
1. Once the module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module.
