Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION .
  3. Remove the 6 flexplate bolts and the flexplate.
    • To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
