Solenoid Body Assembly: Removal
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the transmission fluid pan drain plug and drain the transmission.
- Disconnect the HO2S connector and remove the sensor wire retaining clip from the right side of the transmission pan rail.
- Remove the HO2S connector from the front of the transmission pan rail.
- Remove the transmission fluid pan screws, gasket and fluid pan.
- Disconnect the solenoid body harness electrical connector.
- Remove the screws and the transmission fluid filter.
- Remove the solenoid body boles and remove the solenoid body by lifting on the body and pushing the connector from the other side of the case.
NOTE:
Clean the area around the solenoid body connector to prevent contamination.
CAUTION:
Do not damage the solenoid body connector pins.
