  • Accelerator pedal is hard to push down or has a rough or sticky feel
  • Damaged accelerator cable.
    NOTE: Do not lubricate the accelerator cable.
  • INSTALL a new accelerator cable.
  • Accelerator cable.
  • CHECK the accelerator cable for correct installation.
  • Worn or damaged throttle body.
  • Damaged accelerator pedal and shaft.
  • INSTALL a new accelerator pedal and shaft.
  • Accelerator pedal shaft lever sticks (does not return freely)
  • Damaged accelerator cable.
  • INSTALL a new accelerator cable.
  • Accelerator cable.
  • CHECK the accelerator cable for correct installation.
  • Weak or broken accelerator shaft spring.
