Removal and Installation

NOTE: The lateral and longitudinal accelerometer and the roll rate sensor are located within the yaw rate sensor, stability control sensor cluster.
  1. Remove the front floor console. For additional information, refer REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Disconnect the stability control sensor cluster electrical connector.
  3. Remove the 4 bolts and the bracket.
    • To install:
      • Tighten the upper bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb-in).
      • Tighten the lower bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb-ft).

  4. Remove the 2 bolts and the stability control sensor cluster.
    • To install, tighten to 12 N.m (9 lb-ft).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
