NOTE:
Do not install a new DSM as part of repair for a DSM DTC U1900 fault. The DSM is not the source of the fault when DTC U1900 is present. If DTC U1900 is present on-demand, CHECK the instrument cluster module for DTCs and REPAIR as needed. REFER to
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
. If DTC U1900 is present continuous only, CHECK for an intermittent MS-CAN fault. REFER to
MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
to diagnose the MS-CAN network concern.
