AUDIO UNIT DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC Description Perform Test
B1117 Audio Steering Wheel Button Stuck INSPECT the steering wheel controls for a stuck button and REPAIR as necessary. If no concern is found, GO to PINPOINT TEST I .
B1119 DVD Mechanism Thermal Shutdown Fault ALLOW the audio unit to cool. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1119 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . SEND the audio unit to an authorized repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B1136 Audio Steering Wheel Switch #2 Circuit Failure GO to PINPOINT TEST I .
B1140 Map DVD Invalid INSERT a known good navigation map DVD. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1140 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . SEND the audio unit to an authorized repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B1318 Battery Voltage Low DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the audio unit self-test. If DTC B1318 is retrieved again, REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION to continue diagnosis of the charging system. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B1342 ECU is Faulted DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2103 Antenna Not Connected GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
B2204 GPS Antenna Connection Open or Short GO to PINPOINT TEST L .
B2274 Phone Transceiver Active Circuit Failure DISREGARD the DTC. It is not applicable for this vehicle. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B2384 Audio Reverse Aid Mute Input Circuit Failure DISREGARD the DTC. It is not applicable for this vehicle. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B2401 Audio Tape Deck Mechanism Fault DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2401 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2404 Audio Steering Wheel Switch Circuit Failure GO to PINPOINT TEST I .
B2405 Audio Disc CD Player Thermal Shutdown Fault ALLOW the audio unit to cool. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B2406 Audio Disc CD Player Internal Fault DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2406 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2477 ECU Configuration Failure REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
B2656 DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) Internal Error CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B2656 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2913 (Audiophile only) Subwoofer Not Connected GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
B2924 Audio Button Stuck
NOTE: For the navigation audio unit, the hardkey test should be used to isolate a stuck button.
VERIFY no audio unit buttons are stuck and that no audio unit button is pressed during the self-test. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B2924 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2965 Audio System Speaker Circuit Failure GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
C1992 Vehicle Speed Circuit Failure DISREGARD the DTC. It is not applicable for this vehicle. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
P0812 Reverse Input Circuit DISREGARD the DTC. It is not applicable for this vehicle. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault - Receive Error REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U2050 No Application Present DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2050 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
U2051 One or More Calibration Files Missing/Corrupt DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2051 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
U2473 Unexpected Vehicle Speed (VSS) GO to PINPOINT TEST O .
DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD) PLAYER DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC Description Perform Test
B1119 DVD Mechanism Thermal Shutdown Fault ALLOW the DVD player to cool. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B1317 Battery Voltage High DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1317 is retrieved again, REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION to continue diagnosis of the charging system. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B1318 Battery Voltage Low DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1318 is retrieved again, REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION to continue diagnosis of the charging system. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B1342 ECU is Faulted DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, REMOVE the DVD player and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD) PLAYER . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2477 ECU Configuration Failure REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
B2656 DVD Error DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B2656 is retrieved again, REMOVE the DVD player and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD) PLAYER . TEST the system for normal operation.
B2924 Audio Button Stuck DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B2924 is retrieved again, REMOVE the DVD player and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD) PLAYER . TEST the system for normal operation.
U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault - Receive Error REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U2050 No Application Present DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2050 is retrieved again, REMOVE the DVD player and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD) PLAYER . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
SATELLITE RADIO RECEIVER DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC Description Perform Test
B1031 SDARS Satellite Antenna Open GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
B1032 SDARS Satellite Antenna Short GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
B1318 Battery Voltage Low DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the satellite radio receiver self-test. If DTC B1318 is retrieved again, REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION to continue diagnosis of the charging system. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B1342 ECU is Faulted DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, REMOVE the satellite radio receiver and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to SATELLITE RADIO RECEIVER . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2477 ECU Configuration Failure REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault - Receive Error REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
