U1900 CAN Communication Bus Fault - Receive Error On-Demand and Continuous
NOTE: Do not install a new DSM as part of repair for a DSM DTC U1900 fault. The DSM is not the source of the fault when DTC U1900 is present. If DTC U1900 is present on-demand, CHECK the instrument cluster module for DTCs and REPAIR as needed. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . If DTC U1900 is present continuous only, CHECK for an intermittent MS-CAN fault. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the MS-CAN network concern.
U2050 No Application Code Present On-Demand and Continuous CONFIGURE the DSM. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test. If the DTC does not clear or is retrieved again, INSTALL a new DSM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . CONFIGURE the DSM.
