In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE-TRANSMISSION .
  3. Install the special tool and remove the 6 flexplate bolts and the flexplate.
