Selector Lever Knob: Installation

    CAUTION: When installing the selector lever knob, make sure the wiring harness is positioned forward and is centered on the shift lever shaft, or damage to the shift lever or wiring harness will occur.

  1. Position the selector lever knob onto the lever and route the wiring harness through the transmission range indicator.
  2. Slide the selector lever knob down the shaft and install a new screw.

    3. NOTE: Selector lever assembly shown removed.

  3. Connect the O/D switch electrical connector.
  4. Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
