Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor: Removal

  1. Remove the catalytic converter. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the heat shield.

  3. Disconnect the output speed shaft speed (OSS) sensor connector.

  4. Remove the OSS cover.
    1. Remove the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Remove the cover.

  5. Remove the OSS sensor.
