Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS)

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) consists of the following components:

• Hydraulic control unit (HCU)
• ABS module
• Front wheel speed sensors and sensor rings (part of the front hub and bearing assembly)
• Rear wheel speed sensors
• Rear wheel speed sensor rings (part of the rear hub and bearing assembly)
• Yellow ABS warning indicator

The front wheel speed sensors and front wheel speed sensor rings are integral to the front hub and bearing assemblies. Refer to FRONT SUSPENSION .

The rear wheel speed sensor rings are integral to the rear hub and bearing assembly. Refer to REAR SUSPENSION .
