Normal Schedule: Notes
NOTE:
Rotate tires and inspect for wear at 5,000 miles, 15,000 miles and every 15,000 miles is required thereafter. At other 5,000-mile intervals, rotation is recommended for optimal life.
The following check procedures should be carried out for all cars, minivans, light trucks, sport utilities, vans, four wheel drive (4WD) and natural gas vehicles.
- Retighten the wheel nuts to the specified torque at 800 km (500 miles) after any wheel disturbance (tire rotation, changing a flat tire or wheel removal).
- On vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels, retighten the wheel nuts to the specified torque at 160 km (100 miles) and again at 800 km (500 miles) of new vehicle operation or after any wheel disturbance (tire rotation, changing a flat tire or wheel removal).
- Carry-out multi-point inspection (recommended).
