	Shift linkage	VERIFY digital transmission range (TR) sensor range for correct adjustment. REFER to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION article.
The transmission control (TC) switch is inoperative	CJB fuse 28 (15A) TC switch TC switch not cycled during self-test Powertrain control module (PCM) Circuitry	Go to Pinpoint Test C .
The transmission control indicator lamp (TCIL) is not operating correctly	LED Instrument cluster PCM	REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER article.
Excessive shift effort	Transmission selector lever cable	INSTALL a new transmission selector lever cable.
	Cable bracket	ADJUST the cable. TIGHTEN the screws.
Transmission selector lever will not shift	Transmission selector lever cable	INSTALL a new transmission selector lever cable.
	Broken transmission selector level cable	INSTALL a new transmission selector lever cable.
