Seat Control Switch: Installation

  1. Position the seat control switch and install the 2 screws.
  2. Position the inner side shield to the seat.
  3. Install the outer side shield to the seat.
      NOTE: Route the power seat (if equipped) switch wire harness through the side of the seat while positioning the outer side shield to the seat.
    1. Position the outer side shield to the seat and push in where indicated to install the retaining clips.
    2. Squeeze the inner and outer side shields together to fasten the retainer clips.

  4. Install the outer side shield screw.
  5. Install the recliner handle.
  6. Connect the seat control switch electrical connector.
  7. Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering in SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
