Engine Front Cover: Installation
- Clean all sealing surfaces and position a new front cover gasket.

- Install the engine front cover and coolant pump assembly.
- Apply Thread Sealant with PTFE to the bolts indicated.
- Install the 5 bolts and 5 stud bolts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

- Install the coolant pump pulley and 4 bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the A/C compressor bracket.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Install the accessory drive belt idler pulley.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Connect the lower radiator and heater hose to the coolant pump.
- Install the generator support bracket and nut.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the oil pan. For additional information, refer to Engine Lubrication Components - Exploded View, Oil Pan, Oil Pan Baffle and Oil Pump and Oil Pan .
- Remove the crankshaft front seal. For additional information, refer to Lower End Components - Exploded View, Crankshaft Pulley and Crankshaft Front Seal and Crankshaft Front Seal .
- Install the generator. For additional information, refer to GENERATOR AND REGULATOR

- Install the degas bottle. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING

- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES

- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING
