- A1 CHECK CIRCUIT 1087 (OG) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: ABS Module C135.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the ABS module connector C135 pin 8, circuit 1087 (OG), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : GO to A2.
- No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. TURN the ignition switch from OFF to ON. REPEAT the ABS self-test. If any DTCs are retrieved, REFER to the ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INDEX . If no DTCs are retrieved, CARRY OUT a drive test above 15 km/h (9 mph), then REFER to the SYMPTOM CHART
- A2 CHECK CIRCUIT 1203 (BK/LB) FOR AN OPEN
- Measure the resistance between the ABS module C135 pin 15, circuit 1203 (BK/LB), harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- Yes : CHECK the CAN communications network. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
