The yellow ABS warning indicator is always/never on	Instrument cluster Brake fluid level Wiring, terminals or connectors ABS module	RETRIEVE all DTCs and REFER to the ABS MODULE DTC CHART . If no DTCs are present, REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC), MESSAGE CENTER & WARNING CHIMES article.
The traction assist indicator is never/always on	Instrument cluster Wiring, terminals or connectors Traction control switch	RETRIEVE all DTCs and REFER to the ABS MODULE DTC CHART . ABS false activation, ABS too sensitive, ABS activates on normal stop	Front wheel speed sensor tone rings	INSPECT both front wheel speed sensor tone rings for damaged teeth. INSTALL new as necessary.
	Chafed wire insulation or pinched wire	INSPECT the wiring harness from the front wheel speed sensor knuckle to the frame and from the rear axle to the frame. REPAIR or INSTALL new as necessary.
	Rear wheel speed sensor, excessive variance in air gap between wheel speed sensor and sensor tone ring	INSPECT both rear wheel speed sensor tone rings for damaged teeth. INSTALL new as necessary.
	Open or shorted wheel speed sensor circuit	Go to Pinpoint Test C .
	Rear wheel speed sensor tone rings	INSPECT the rear wheel speed sensor tone rings. INSTALL new as necessary.
	Wheel speed sensor	Go to Pinpoint Test D .
The traction control system cannot be disabled	Instrument cluster Circuitry Traction control switch	Go to Pinpoint Test K .
