Lower Intake Manifold: Installation

Using new intake manifold and thermostat housing gaskets, install the lower intake manifold and the 10 bolts.
- Tighten in the sequence shown to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

Install the 3 thermostat housing-to-lower intake manifold bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
Install the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING article.
Install the fuel rail. For additional information, refer to FUEL CHARGING & CONTROLS - 3.5L article.
Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
