Frame: Description and Operation

FRAME AND BODY MOUNTING


Frame:






The frame consists of 2 steel channel rails, a rear crossmember, a number of additional support crossmembers and a front crossmember.

The No. 1A (four wheel drive [4WD] only) and the No. 1 crossmembers are welded to the frame side rails. The remaining frame crossmembers are riveted and/or bolted into place.
