CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold.
2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt, the CMP sensor and discard the O-ring seal.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

4. NOTE: Lubricate the new O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new O-ring seal.
