Liftgate/Trunk Module (LTM)

Removal and Installation









1. Remove the power liftgate motor assembly. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Motor Service and Repair.

2. Remove the Liftgate/Trunk Module (LTM).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the 3 retaining bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).





3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Initialize the power liftgate. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Initialization Programming and Relearning.
