Selector Lever: Removal

  1. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE article.
  2. Move the selector lever to the PARK position and remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever.
    1. Remove the selector lever cable eyelet from the ball stud.
    2. Squeeze the tabs and remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever assembly.

  3. Disconnect the selector lever assembly electrical connector.

  4. Remove the 4 nuts and the selector lever assembly.
