Flex Plate

NOTE: New flexplate bolts must be installed. They are a torque-to-yield design and cannot be reused.

Position the spacer and the flexplate. Install the 8 new bolts and tighten in the sequence shown in 3 stages.
Stage 1: Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).
Stage 2: Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
Stage 3: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
