| P1260 | Theft Detected, Vehicle Immobilized | If there are any Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) DTCs present in the Instrument Cluster (IC), ADDRESS them first. REFER to DTC CHARTS in this service information. This DTC can also indicate a Controller Area Network (CAN) or a parameter reset concern. Make sure to verify if there are any communication concerns/DTCs with any modules. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If DTC P1260 is the only DTC present, there can be a parameter reset concern, an intermittent power or ground concern with the Transmission Control Module (TCM). REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET in this service information. If necessary, CHECK the powers and ground to the TCM and PCM. REFER to the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article, to determine the power and ground circuits. |

| P1622 | Immobilizer ID Does Not Match | CARRY OUT a parameter reset of the IC and the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and CYCLE the ignition 3-5 times, making an attempt to start the vehicle each key cycle. REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET in this service information. CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test. |
