CONNECT the scan tool and monitor the TCC PID to verify TCC electrical operation. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC PARAMETERS IDENTIFICATION (PID) CHART in this information. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation. If the DTC returns, REMOVE the mechatronic unit. INSPECT and clean the solenoid terminals at the leadframe for metallic contamination. REINSTALL the mechatronic unit. CONNECT the scan tool and CLEAR the DTCs. Road test the vehicle and check for DTCs. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new mechatronic unit. After installing the new mechatronic unit, it must be programmed with the latest calibration. |
