Diagnostic Overview

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

REFER to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Operation Cruise Control - Adaptive.

The C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) can be aligned both vertically and horizontally. The vertical alignment is a manual procedure carried out by adjusting the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) adjustment screw. The horizontal alignment is a software procedure that is carried out internal to the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module).

Pinpoint Test

1. INSPECT THE C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) BRACKET

1. Inspect for damage to the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) bracket.

Is the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) bracket damaged?






2. CARRY OUT THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT

1. NOTE: Remove the front bumper cover to carry out the vertical alignment procedure.

Carry out the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) alignment. REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) (with Sensor) Adjustment Adjustments.

Does the C-CM (Cruise-Control Module) align correctly?
