Five Digit DTC Description Action
C0044:28 Brake pressure sensor A: signal bias level out of range/zero adjustment failure For additional information, refer to VEHICLE DYNAMIC SYSTEMS .
P06A6 Sensor reference voltage A circuit range/performance Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P06A7 Sensor reference voltage B circuit range/performance Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P06A8 Sensor reference voltage C circuit range/performance Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0701 Wrong engine control fault - monitors the torque up and engine speed requests from the Transmission Control Module (TCM), if it finds a fault it turns off these requests See more specific DTC. If no other DTCs are set, clear code and re-test.
P0702 Transmission control system electrical Adjust selector lever cable. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION EXTERNAL CONTROLS . If concern still present, replace TR  sensor.
P0706 TR  sensor A circuit range/performance Go to PINPOINT TEST D .
P0707 TR  sensor A circuit low Adjust selector lever cable. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION EXTERNAL CONTROLS . If concern still present, replace TR sensor.
P0708 TR  sensor A circuit high Go to PINPOINT TEST D .
P0709 TR  sensor A circuit intermittent Go to PINPOINT TEST D .
P0715 Insufficient input from input shaft speed sensor Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0716 Input shaft speed sensor A circuit Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0717 Input shaft speed sensor A circuit no signal Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0718 Input shaft speed sensor A signal intermittent Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0720 Insufficient input from OSS  sensor circuit Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0721 OSS  sensor signal error Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0722 OSS  sensor no signal Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0723 OSS  sensor circuit intermittent Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
P072B Stuck in reverse
  • REPAIR all speed sensor, clutch motor 2, and clutch 2 performance DTCs first.
  • Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
  • INSPECT shift drum, shift fork, synchronizer and TCM Shift Motors for wear or damage. REPLACE as needed. Refer to TRANSAXLE in this information.
P072C Stuck in gear 1
  • REPAIR all speed sensor, clutch motor 1, and clutch 1 performance DTCs first.
  • Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
  • INSPECT shift drum, shift fork, synchronizer and TCM  shift motors for wear or damage. REPLACE as needed. Refer to TRANSAXLE in this information.
P072D Stuck in gear 2
  • REPAIR all speed sensor, clutch motor 2, and clutch 2 performance DTCs first.
  • Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
  • INSPECT shift drum, shift fork, synchronizer and TCM  shift motors for wear or damage. REPLACE as needed. Refer to TRANSAXLE in this information.
P072E Stuck in gear 3
  • REPAIR all speed sensor, clutch motor 1, and clutch 1 performance DTCs first.
  • Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
  • INSPECT shift drum, shift fork, synchronizer and TCM  shift motors for wear or damage. REPLACE as needed. Refer to TRANSAXLE in this information.
P072F Stuck in gear 4
  • REPAIR all speed sensor, clutch motor 2, and clutch 2 performance DTCs first.
  • Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
  • INSPECT shift drum, shift fork, synchronizer and TCM  shift motors for wear or damage. REPLACE as needed. Refer to TRANSAXLE in this information.
P073A Stuck in gear 5
  • REPAIR all speed sensor, clutch motor 1, and clutch 1 performance DTCs first.
  • Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
