Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor - 4.0L









Removal and Installation

1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Engine Cooling Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.

2. Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove the clip and the ECT sensor. Discard the O-ring seal.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new O-ring seal.
