Rear Subframe: Description and Operation



Rear Subframe

The rear subframe is bolted to the body and is used to:
- aid in structural support.
- provide mounting surfaces for the rear suspension control arms.
- provide mounting surfaces for the rear differential All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
