Test Procedure
- TP1 CHECK FOR CORRECT TRACTION MOTOR RPM DURING THE ROAD TEST NOTE: Refer to VEHICLE SPEED KM/H (MPH)/TRACTION MOTOR RPM for correct traction motor to vehicle speed correlations.
- Clear the TCM DTCs.
- Access the TCM and monitor the M_SPEED (RPM) PID.
- Access the TCM and monitor the VSS (SPD) PID.
- Road test the vehicle.
- Record traction motor RPM at different vehicle speeds.
Does the traction motor RPM correspond with the vehicle speed?
Yes No GO to TP2. INSTALL a new transaxle assembly. REFER to the appropriate Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT) article. - TP2 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)
Is DTC P0C2F present?
Yes No GO to PINPOINT TEST DP . Unable to duplicate or identify the concern at this time.
