Transfer Case Vent: Removal

NOTE: This procedure applies to vehicles equipped with manual transaxles.
  1. Remove the Power Transfer Unit (PTU). For additional information, refer to POWER TRANSFER UNIT (PTU)  in the Removal portion of this service information.
  2. Using a slide hammer with a suitable 3 jaw puller attachment, remove the PTU tube.
