DTC P0C2F: Internal Control Module Drive Motor/Generator/Engine Speed Sensor Performance

P0C2F - INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE DRIVE MOTOR/GENERATOR/ENGINE SPEED SENSOR PERFORMANCE

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the generator speed circuits, the motor speed circuits, and the engine speed. If the PCM detects a concern identifying an issue with the motor, generator or engine speed sensors, this DTC is set.
Possible Causes: 
  • Generator speed circuits
  • Engine speed sensor circuits
  • Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) circuits
  • Motor speed circuits
Diagnostic Aids:  When this DTC sets, the powertrain malfunction indicator (wrench) will illuminate and the vehicle will go into limited operation strategy (LOS) supercreep mode. Refer to TORQUE-BASED ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL (ETC) , ETC System Failure Mode Effects Management (FMEM), LOS supercreep for additional information.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
