Normal Operation

When the ignition is turned to the RUN position, the ABS module and the PCM share Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) information over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).

• DTC B2900 (VIN Mismatched) - If the VIN information stored in the ABS module does not match the information transmitted by the PCM, DTC B2900 sets.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• Module configuration
• ABS module
