Pinpoint Test

1. Ignition ON.
2. Using a scan tool, carry out the network test.

Does the ATCM pass the network test? 

1. Yes: GO to 2  .
2. No: REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE AA : The All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.

1. Ignition ON.
2. Using a scan tool, carry out the ABS module self-test.
3. Clear the DTCs  .
4. Ignition OFF.
5. Ignition ON.
6. Repeat the ABS module self-test.
7. Record the ABS module DTCs  .

Is DTC U0138:00 retrieved again? 

1. Yes: GO to 3  .
2. No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.

1. Check the recorded DTCs  from the ABS self-test.

Is DTC U3003:16 or U3003:17 present? 

1. Yes:

   For DTC U3003:16, REFER to Diagnostic Routine A : U3003:16.

   For DTC U3003:17, REFER to Diagnostic Routine P : U3003:17.

2. No: GO to 4  .

1. Using a scan tool, carry out the ATCM self-test.

Is DTC B11D9:16 or 17 present? 

1. Yes: REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE F : B11D9:16 and B11D9:17.
2. No: GO to 5  .

1. Ignition ON.
2. Using a scan tool, carry out the self-test for all modules.
3. Retrieve the CMDTCs  from all modules.

Is DTC U0138:00 set in any other modules? 

1. Yes: CHECK OASIS  for any applicable TSBs  . If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the TSB instructions. If no TSBs  address this concern, INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to ALL TERRAIN CONTROL MODULE (ATCM) .
2. No: CHECK OASIS  for any applicable TSBs  . If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the TSB instructions.

   If no TSBs  address this concern and the vehicle is not equipped with adaptive cruise control, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module .

   If no TSBs  address this concern and the vehicle is equipped with adaptive cruise control, INSTALL a new ABS module and HCU. REFER to Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) . Note ABS module and HCU are removed as an assembly.
