Selector Lever Bezel: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. Remove the selector lever bezel trim ring.

  2. Lift the armrest and remove the upper console panel.

  3. Slide the lower selector lever knob bezel downward.

  4. Remove the 2 screws from the selector lever knob.

    Vehicles not equipped with a Transmission Control Switch (TCS) 

  5. Remove the selector lever knob and knob bezel.

    All vehicles 

  6. NOTE: Selector lever removed for clarity.

  7. Release the 4 selector lever bezel tabs and position the selector lever bezel aside to gain access to the bezel light and the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) connector, if equipped.
  8. Disconnect the selector lever bezel light electrical connector from the selector lever.

    Vehicles equipped with a TCS 

  9. Disconnect the TCS connector, route the wiring harness out of the selector lever bezel and remove the selector lever knob and knob bezel.

    All vehicles 

  10. Remove the selector lever bezel.
