Selector Lever Knob: Removal

Vehicles with a Transmission Control Switch (TCS) 

  1. Remove the selector lever trim ring.

  2. Lift the armrest and remove the center console cup holder panel.

    All vehicles 

  3. Slide the lower selector lever knob bezel downward.

  4. Remove the 2 screws from the selector lever knob.

    Vehicles without a TCS 

  5. Remove the selector lever knob.

  6. NOTE: Selector lever removed for clarity.

  7. Release the 4 tabs and position the selector lever trim ring aside to gain access to the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) electrical connector.
  8. Disconnect the TCS electrical connector, route the wiring harness out of the selector lever bezel and remove the selector lever knob and knob bezel.
