Seat Backrest Third Row, Power: Disassembly

1.

Remove the affected seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Third Row, Power in this service information.

Remove the backrest cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest Cover - Third Row, Power .

3.

Remove the backrest foam pad.

4.

Remove the bushing.

5.

Remove the head restraint in the following sequence.

  Detach the head restraint release cable and conduit from the backrest frame.

  Remove the 2 head restraint bolts.
  - To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

  Remove the 2 head restraint nuts.
  - To install, tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).
1. 4.
  
  Remove the head restraint and route the cable out of the backrest frame.

6.

To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
