NOTE: Refer to INTELLIGENT ACCESS (IA) WITH PUSH BUTTON START IGNITION MODES Description and Operation, Intelligent Access with Push Button Start to review the procedures for achieving the various ignition states (ignition OFF, ignition in ACCESSORY, ignition ON, ignition START) on vehicles with this feature.

PCM DTC CHART

DTC	Description	Action
P0512	Starter Request Circuit - Circuit has Power With the Ignition in the OFF Position	Vehicles with key start, CARRY OUT the Ignition Switch Component Test. Refer to OEM COMPONENT TESTING for component testing. If necessary, INSTALL a new ignition switch. If the ignition switch passed the component test, REPAIR circuit CDC35 (BU/WH) for a short to power. Vehicles with push button starting system, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P1260	Theft Detected, Vehicle Immobilized	REFER to DTC CHARTS the DTC Chart .
All other DTCs	-	REFER to the Master DTC Chart in MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .

NOTE: This module utilizes a 5-character DTC followed by a 2-character failure type code. The failure type code provides information about specific fault conditions such as opens or shorts to ground. CMDTCs have an additional 2-character DTC status code suffix to assist in determining DTC history.

P0615:12	Start Relay Circuit: Short to Battery	GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
P0615:13	Start Relay Circuit: Circuit Open	GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
All other DTCs	-	REFER to the DTC Chart in MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
