Air Conditioning: Notes

The A/C system components include the following:
- Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor - Externally Controlled Variable Displacement Compressor (EVDC)
- A/C compressor clutch and clutch field coil
- A/C pressure transducer
- Condenser core
- Connecting refrigerant lines
- Evaporator core (part of the heater core and evaporator core housing)
- Evaporator temperature sensor (part of the heater core and evaporator core housing)
- Receiver drier desiccant bag (3.7L Ti-VCT engine)
- TXV
- The PCM monitors multiple temperature sensors correlation (AAT, CHT, ECT IAT, MAF, MAP (as equipped)) as part of the A/C compressor clutch engagement strategy
